Ms. Melendez joined Walton Lantaff’s Orlando office in 2015 as an associate attorney. Her primary areas of practice are business law, insurance defense and construction defect litigation. While at Florida A&M College of Law, Ms. Melendez served as a judicial law clerk for the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court, was a Certified Legal Intern for the College of Law Housing Clinic, interned for the County Attorney’s Office of Seminole County and clerked for a family law firm.

Prior to starting her legal career, Ms. Melendez had a career in business development for seven years. She partnered with construction and real estate clients to bring them service based solutions.
