Mr. Strunin
practices primarily in civil trial law, and tort cases
including automobile, premises liability, and professional
negligence. He also concentrates heavily in all aspects of
workers' compensation. He has an AV rating by
Martindale-Hubbell.
He holds a J.D. degree conferred by Oklahoma City
University School of Law. While at Oklahoma City
University, he was an intern in the Public Defender's
Office. He graduated from the University of Miami with a
B.A. degree in political science.
He served six terms (maximum allowable) as a member of the Workers' Compensation Rules
Committee of The Florida Bar and is certified by the
Florida Department of Insurance as an instructor (for CEU)
to claims handlers on all aspects of Florida workers' compensation
law. He presently serves on the Executive Council of
the Workers' Compensation section of The Florida Bar;
The Executive Council, comprised of 30 workers'
compensation practitioners equally divided between
claimant and employer/carrier "camps", establishes and
promotes policy positions, continuing legal education
(including Board Certification in workers'
compensation), and professionalism for the 1900+ members
of the Section.
