Ms. Stacy Ortiz practices primarily in the area of workers' compensation insurance defense. She is also a member of the Florida Bar.

Ms. Ortiz received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of South Florida. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida College of Law, where she was a member of the James C. Adkins, Jr. American Inn of Court. Ms. Ortiz was also a teaching assistant with the Department of Legal Research & Writing and Appellate Advocacy. Prior to joining Walton Lantaff Schroeder and Carson, Ms. Ortiz was a law clerk for the Eighth Judicial Circuit, a Certified Legal Intern with the Gator TeamChild Program at the University of Florida, and clerked for a criminal defense firm.
