He is a Certified Arbitrator by Eleventh Circuit Court of Florida and the Florida Dispute Resolution Center, and is a member of American Arbitration Association

Mr. Jenks earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, and his Bachelor of Arts at Florida Atlantic University.

He is admitted to practice in the following courts: Supreme Court of Florida and all local courts of the State of Florida; United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, including the Southern District Trial Bar; United States Fifth and Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Jenks' memberships in defense and insurance associations include: associate member of South Florida Claims Association (since 1975); Florida Defense Lawyers Association (since 1975); Federation of Insurance & Corporate Counsel (since 1981); American Board of Trial Advocates (since 1988); and Defense Research Institute Member (since 1981).

Mr. Jenks is the author of "Affirmative Defenses under Florida Law," "Premises Liability: Investigations, Defense, Settlement, and Trial," and "Jury Selection" (published by The Miami Review). He also served as a panel member on the television program "You and the Law" (speaking on medical malpractice, tort reform and physician/patient relationship).
