Area of Practice and Experience

• Ms. LaVoie's primary area of practice involves workers' compensation defense.
• Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. LaVoie practiced primarily in the area of PIP defense.
• While In law school, Ms. LaVoie earned the Book Award for Legal Writing & Research I and was a member of both the Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law and the Journal of Transnational Law & Policy (served as an Articles and Notes Editor Fall 2001). She was also awarded a Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award (for 197 hours of pro bono service for the Legal Services of Greater Miami).
