Area of Practice and Experience

• Anthony Forte is an associate attorney in the West Palm Beach Office of the firm. He has practiced primarily in the area of workers' compensation defense for the past three years but also handles insurance coverage, liability and defense matters. Recently, Mr. Forte was able to resolve a workers' compensation claim, where the Claimant's demand had stood at nearly $600,000.00 for several years, for less than one-tenth of the amount demanded. He is a member of the Florida Bar and the Palm Beach County Bar Association.
• Mr. Forte received his Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising from the University of Florida. He received his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law, where he was a member of the International Moot Court Board, serving as its Competition's Chairman. Mr. Forte was also a Dean's Fellow for the Department of Legal Research & Writing at St. Thomas University and was a multiple Dean's List Award recipient.
• Prior to joining Walton Lantaff Schroeder & Carson, Mr. Forte was an Assistant Public Defender for the 11th Judicial Circuit in Miami. As a Public Defender, he successfully represented hundreds of clients in negotiating favorable plea bargains and obtaining positive results and verdicts at motion hearings and trial. While in law school, he clerked for a personal injury law firm assisting in a massive mold litigation class action lawsuit as well as other medical malpractice, personal injury and contract dispute claims.
