Area of Practice and Experience

• Mr. Tharp concentrates his practice in complex litigation, including defense of construction defect claims, medical malpractice, and product liability matters.
• Prior to joining the Firm Mr. Tharp was a law clerk for Judge Charles B. Fulton, United States District Judge for the Southern District of Florida for one year and Judge David Dyer, United States District Judge for the Southern District of Florida (later elevated to United States Circuit Judge of the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals)
• In law school, Mr. Tharp was invited to write on the Law Review of Washington and Lee University School of Law.

• Member of the International Association of Defense Counsel.
• Member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity.
• Served as Chairman of Grievance Committee 11 "G" of the Florida Bar of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida 1995 through 1998.
