Area of Practice and Experience

• Ms. Hartnett is a Senior Partner in the Miami Office and handles a statewide practice in the area of workers’ compensation defense and insurance defense litigation.
• Ms. Hartnett joined the firm in 1987.
• Ms. Hartnett has served as the Office Manager of the Miami and Tampa office of Walton Lantaff.
• Ms. Hartnett is certified by the Florida Department of Insurance as an instructor for continuing education credit for insurance adjusters.

Professional and Civic Activities

• Ms. Hartnett was awarded the Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney of the Year Award in 2009.
• Ms. Hartnett served as President of the Friends of 440 from 2006 – 2009 and as a Trustee of the Board since 1996.
• Ms. Hartnett serves as a Trustee of the Board of Friends of 440 Scholarship Fund.
• From 2006 until the present, Ms. Hartnett has served as the Chairperson of the Dade County Bar Workers’ Compensation Section appointed each year by the Miami-Dade County Bar President.
• Ms. Hartnett currently serves on the local committee to revise Guidelines for Professional Conduct in South Florida.
• Ms. Hartnett was a former Director of the Young Lawyers Board of the DCBA.
• Ms. Hartnett was a former intern for the State Senate of the Connecticut Legislature.
